BGISD is working with a new photography company this school year. Many things have gone well, but a few things have not. Staff and high school pictures were originally printed and distributed without a background. This was a lab error and the pictures were reprinted with a blue background and distributed on Friday, October 25th.

A few people have noticed printing issues (discoloration, spots, lines, etc.) with their pictures. In an effort to make sure we have the best pictures to send home and the best pictures to use in the yearbook, we are rescheduling re-take day on Wednesday, November 13th for all campuses. The Blooming Grove Independent School District and Blooming Grove Junior High School announced today a change to its policy for serving meals to children served under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2019-2020 school year. Schools qualifying to operate the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) provide breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals.

Sign up sheets are available at the elementary and junior high offices for any 3rd through 6th grader that would like to play volleyball. The deadline is Thursday, September 5th by the end of the school day. Or print out and complete the attached form and turn it in to your child's campus office.
