Join us on Saturday, March 16th at 6:00 PM in the elementary cafeteria for the Blooming Grove Friends of Youth dinner and auction. It will begin with beans, cornbread and dessert followed by a live auction at 6:30 PM.
Blooming Grove 4H, FFA, and FCCLA members showing projects at the Navarro County Youth Expo are encouraged to attend and bring an auction item.

We continue to see new and recurring cases of the flu in our area and at Blooming Grove ISD. Throughout the past several weeks, there have been several area districts that have closed due to similar situations. Blooming Grove ISD will be closed on Monday, February 25th. All school activities, practices, and game are cancelled. All facilities will be closed to staff and students.

Blooming Grove Junior High students and teachers will get to experience The Trailblazer on February 19th and 20th. What is The Trailblazer? It is TAME’s traveling STEM-museum-on-wheels, and invites everyone to get excited about science, tech, engineering, and math! The Trailblazer Program reaches potential where it lives, bringing innovative, interactive STEM exhibits to kids, families, and communities across Texas. What’s more, students visiting the Trailblazer are stepping into a network designed to support them as they advance

The Junior High Valentine's dance will be held on Friday, February 8th from 7-10 PM. All BG 6th, 7th, or 8th grade students that would like to attend will need to purchase their ticket before 3:30PM, February 8th, in the office for $2 each. Tickets will not be available at the door.
The 6th grade students are asked to bring bottled water, 7th grade students a dozen store bought cookies and the 8th grade students one 12 pack of soft drinks. And don't forget to wear your dancing shoes!

Pictures will be taken this Friday morning, January 25th, of the JH basketball teams and JH cheerleaders. Order forms were sent home last week and are due when pictures are taken.

All of the girls junior high basketball games will be played in the Rice high school gym tonight beginning at 5PM with the combo team.
