The Board of Trustees held a special meeting on October 5, 2020 to evaluate the remote learning models. As a results of the academic struggles of our remote students, Blooming Grove ISD is stopping remote learning effective October 16, 2020. The incredible and unprecendented time and effort required of our teachers and administrators to facilitate our three learning models will come to an end. All students are to attend school on campus beginning Monday, October 19, 2020.

The first day of school is Tuesday, August 18th. Make sure that your child's immunizations are up-to-date, especially for incoming 7th graders, before the first day of school. Here is a list of required immunizations:
The start of the new school year, August 18, is just around the corner. BGISD request for parents to go on-line at ‘bgrove.org’, complete the necessary ‘Registration’ information for their child/ children. Parents may include more than one child on the ‘Parent Choice Commitment Form’ for registration.

BGISD understands that everyone does not have the capability to go ‘on-line’ and complete registration.
FOR ANY HIGH SCHOOL OR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL family that cannot go ‘on-line’ for registration, the computer lab at the junior high school will be available on Tuesday, August 11, 5:00 -8:00 PM to help HIGH SCHOOL AND JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL family with ‘on-line’ registration. Spanish translators will be available on that day. Only parents are needed for registration. We advise that students be left at home. Social Distancing format will be followed. Mask are required.
Tuesday, June 23, 2020 - BGISD is proud to announce Mr. Jason Revill as our new Junior High Assistant Principal. Mr. Revill loved teaching at the high school for the past three years. He knows he will miss it, but looks forward to his new position. The responsibilities will be different, but the goals remain the same: creating excitement for learning and doing what is best for our students.
Thursday, May 21, 2020 - Due to COVID-19, our traditional 8th grade Promotion Ceremony will be a little different this year. On Monday, June 1st beginning at 6:30 PM Blooming Grove JH will have a "curbside" ceremony!
