Red Ribbon Week

Monday, October 22nd – Let’s see everyone wear RED!

Tuesday, October 23rd - "Crazy about Staying Drug Free" Wear your crazy socks!

Wednesday October 24th - "Unity Day" Wear Orange to show you are united with everyone in the nation to put a Stop to Bullying!

Thursday, October 25th- "Stay Wild about being Drug Free" Wear Camo or Animal Print!

Friday, October 26th - "We Are united to Stay Drug Free" Wear school colors, blue and white.

 

We will have a Drug Awareness/Anti-bullying Student Assembly during school hours on Wednesday, October 24th presented by the counselor, Mrs. Chiselbrook.

 

Poster Contest!

(These are due to the counselor, Mrs. Chiselbrook by Friday, October 19th)

 

Student Bullying Prevention Poster Contest

Entry forms are available in the counselor's office or front office. 

Deadline for entries is Friday October 19th

There will be a prize for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. 

Winners will be announced on Wednesday October 24th   at the student assembly.

 

Red Ribbon/Bullying Prevention Teacher Door Decorating Contest

This will take place in the Activity class period.

Students can choose to either decorate with an Anti-Bullying Awareness theme or a Stay Drug Free theme!

All doors need to be decorated by Friday October 19th

The winner will be announced on Wednesday October 24th. 

The class who has the best decorated door will get a popcorn/ice cream float party!

 

Unity Day October 24th

This is the day that the nation comes together to wear orange and unite against bullying.  Blooming Grove Junior High is proud to join in this effort. Staff and Students will be encouraged to wear orange and take a "Pledge Against Bullying".  Those that choose to take the pledge will sign a banner during their lunch period and be given a sticker to put on their phone as a visual reminder to not use their device as a weapon.  This sticker is in honor of David Molack. (David’s Law).
